PENSCO Trust kicked off the 2007 series of 12 Advanced Training courses on Self-Directed IRAs on January 17th, in South San Francisco. These classes are designed to teach professionals the “ins” and “outs” of self-directed IRA investing. This most recent eight-hour course, offered for free as part of PENSCO Trust’s educational philosophy, was attended by almost 100 CPAs, attorneys, realtors, financial planners and mortgage brokers from all over the country. Results were uniformly very positive (e.g., “absolutely wonderful day”, “awesome, great info-simplified the process and de-mystified it for me”, etc.). One professional in response to an evaluation question about how the effect of the course on their business practice responded with “immense”.
If you are a professional interested in learning more about the emerging and rapidly growing self-directed IRA business and market (10,000 boomers with retirement accounts retiring per day, and 75% wanting to roll their 401(k)s and other plans to IRAs), contact us at (866) 818-4472 to find out where and when our sessions will be held so that you can sign up. Remember these educational sessions are free, and we won’t be selling you anything at the door!
Learn about our new Solo Roth 401(k) product, and its unique feature allowing investors to select which portfolio (tax-deferred or tax-free (e.g., the after-tax Roth component which grows tax-free thereafter)) to use to fund their investments. Suppose you are about to start the next “Google” and you want to invest $10,000 of the Roth component of a Solo (k) into the venture because of the potential to build wealth tax-free- then we can help. We allow the client to either have investments prorated across the four types of funds within Solo(k)s or to specifically target the funds to be used. Supposed this investment succeeds and results in a $25 million gain! Without the ability to target Roth funds, up to 99% could be taxed at ordinary income tax when the Solo(k) participant takes distributions from his/her plan. Using just the Roth portion of the Solo(k), all that tax would be avoided. Learn more now about the Solo(k). Better yet, come to our next advanced training class, and learn all the details and how and why you should know about the best pension product ever devised for sole practitioners!
